Happy CNY ya'll !
Well, once again, the season of ba kua, ang bao's, majong, mandrin oranges and visitation has arrived. Honestly, i'm not THAT excited about it as some other people are. But, it's still fun to get to hang out with your family, to wish ur grandparents longevity and ur relatives a good new year. Today i was supposed to accompany my grandma and my cousin to visit my grandma's siblings. But, i was just too lazy too, and had alot of projects to do, so i decided against it. It turned out, my cousin got PLENTY of ang baos on that visit. Damn it! Damn depressed when she told me. Oh well. Most part of the day was spend slacking at home, and doing my CATS. Lol. Something freaking funny happened just before my family left for my Aunt's place for the annual Majong Tournament(kiddin) and Dinner. While my parents were bathing and preparing, i decided to practice abit of my break dancing. Usually there would be a big space in the hall for me to do my handstands and what not. But today, my dad shifted the dining table to fill half of that area cause he wanted to take a nice family pic before we left. So unknowingly, i did my handstand, and while my legs were rising, it hit the dining table, and the whole dining table crashed unto the floor with a loud thud, that stunned my mom. Lol. My leg still kinda hurts from the collision, but luckily the table didnt break in half. PHEW.... *Break Dancing is DANGEROUS!, no wonder they call it break dancing, if you dont break your bones, u'll probably break something else. SOMETHING JUST HAS TO BREAK!" lol.
Family Pic. (oh this was the table that fell, haha) Anyway, went over to my Aunts Place after that, and had a great time there. We took some family pics. We ate. We watched little Nonya Reunion(WOO!) then we played Majong! Fun stuff.
Well, Chinese New Year doesnt really feel like chinese new year this year, haha. Cause of all the projects and assignments due after this. No mood for celebration at all. Well, hope tmr will be better. Going visitation. Hope i get more Ang Bao's Tmr!! Haha. That might bring up the mood. Lol. Till Then.. Happy Chinese New Year Peeps! |
